Job summary

Beck Oil in California seeks a Sales Representative to promote fuel programs to commercial clients, manage customer accounts, and achieve sales targets. You will maintain relationships and deliver solutions across the territory, coordinating with operations to ensure client satisfaction.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and detail orientation, with travel as needed. Base compensation targets are $65-70K DOE, plus benefits including health, 401K, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 2 years in sales, customer service, or petroleum/fuel distribution desirable.
• Skills: strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Driving: Valid driver's license with clean driving history.
• Communication: Excellent oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with current and potential customers in the fuel sector.
• Sales and Account Management: Meet sales targets, track weekly performance, and keep market information current.
• Database and Reporting: Update customer records and report sales metrics to management.
• Client Support: Provide professional service at fueling sites and coordinate with terminal operations.
• Territory Coverage: Travel within a designated region; some roles are office-based with field engagement.
• Customer Contact: Serve as primary contact for assigned clients and resolve issues.
• Collaboration: Work with Operations, Credit & Senior Management.
