Job summary

Ballard Power Systems is seeking Field Service Technicians to repair, refurbish and test fuel cell modules for customers. Travel will be frequent to customer sites in NY and CA, with emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

Ideal candidates have a technical diploma or trade cert and 2+ years in field service or related roles, with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to train customers and document work clearly.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or trade certification in a related field.
• 2+ years in field service, equipment maintenance or similar hands-on environment.
• Experience with fuel cells, hydrogen systems or electro-mechanical products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair, refurbishment, testing and maintenance of fuel cell modules and components.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and perform functional tests.
• Travel to customer sites and provide on-site support and training.
• Document repairs, service reports and feedback on product performance.
