Job summary

Ballard Power Systems is seeking Field Service Technicians to support our growing customer base across Northern California. You will repair, refurbish, test, troubleshoot, and maintain fuel cell modules and components at customer sites, combining technical service, diagnostics, training, and documentation to ensure safe, reliable operation.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics or related field.
• 2+ years in field service, maintenance, repair or hands-on technical services.
• Experience with fuel cells, hydrogen systems, or electro‑mechanical products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair, refurbishment and testing of fuel cell modules and components at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and assist with root-cause analysis.
• Travel frequently to customer sites for maintenance, repairs and commissioning support.
