Job summary

Ballard Power Systems is seeking Field Service Technicians on the East Coast (New York) and in Northern or Southern California to repair, refurbish, test, and maintain fuel cell modules and components for Ballard’s customers. You will perform hands-on service, troubleshooting, documentation, and customer training while meeting safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in field service or related hands-on roles, with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities

Qualifications

• 2+ years of field service, equipment maintenance, repair, or hands-on technical service experience.
• Experience with fuel cells, hydrogen systems, industrial equipment, power systems, or electro-mechanical products is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Repair, refurbishment, and reconditioning of fuel cell modules and components in the field.
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs per procedures and specs.
• Conduct functional and leak testing to ensure performance and safety.
