Job summary

Plug Power Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to support fuel cell products in electric lift trucks. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose breakdowns, and service installations at a specific site, reporting events and ordering parts as needed.

The role requires strong technical skills and excellent communication with customer personnel. Travel to customer sites is expected as required, with a focus on safety and reliability in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with electrical coursework.
• Three+ years of field service experience in mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.
• Valid driver license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and evaluate fleet performance at a location.
• Perform field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades to fuel cells.
• Provide on-call and emergency support to customers as needed.
• Document incidents, service logs, and inventory at sites.
