Job summary

Plug Power Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to install and service fuel cells in electric lift trucks at a designated location. You will perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and field retrofits, reporting issues and ordering parts as needed.

You will travel to customer sites, work with hydrogen systems and high voltage equipment, and maintain safety and quality standards while supporting fleet performance and uptime.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma with technical electrical coursework.
• 3+ years of direct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Valid driver license with clean driving record.
• Able to lift 50 pounds regularly and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting, and evaluations for fleet upkeep.
• Field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades.
• On-call and emergency support to customers as required.
• Travel to customer sites and report field issues.
