Job summary

Plug Power Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to support fuel cell products in electric lift trucks. Responsibilities include maintenance, diagnostics, and servicing at customer sites, with on-call support and documentation of service activities.

The role requires strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting skills, a valid driver license, and the ability to travel as needed. Tools provided by Plug Power for specialized tasks; candidates should bring their own tool set.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma with technical electrical coursework.
• Three (3) or more years of direct experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Must possess a valid driver license and safe driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and evaluate the fleet at a location.
• Perform field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades to fuel cells.
