Job summary

Plug Power Inc. in the United States is seeking a Field Service Technician to support fuel cell products installed in electric lift trucks.

You will perform preventative maintenance, resolve breakdowns, install and service fuel cells at customer sites, report events, order parts, and maintain service logs. This role requires strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, a valid driver license, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and excellent communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with technical electrical coursework.
• 3+ years direct experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting, and evaluations to maintain the fleet.
• Field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades to existing fuel cells.
• Provide on-call and emergency support as required.
• Purchase tools, equipment, and parts for customer service and support.
• Travel as required; drive safely and adhere to traffic laws.
• Represent Plug Power professionally in all interactions.
• Complete incident reports, service logs, and site documentation.
