Job summary

Plug Power is seeking a Field Service Technician I-Dayton Service Center to support fuel cell systems in electric lift trucks at a Dayton, OH location. The role involves preventative maintenance, diagnosing breakdowns, and performing upgrades while reporting issues and ordering parts.

Standard duties include on-site servicing, safety enforcement, and documenting service logs. A high school diploma with electrical coursework and a valid driver's license are required, with a strong focus on

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• Three or more years of direct experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Must possess a valid driver license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnostics and troubleshooting to maintain the fleet at a location.
• Perform field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades to existing fuel cells.
• Provide emergency support to customers as required.
• Purchase tools, equipment, and parts for field service and support.
