Job summary

Costex Corporation is seeking an Import / Export Coordinator for our Free Trade Zone (FTZ) operations in Miami. You will handle admissions, withdrawals, transfers, and manipulations while maintaining accurate records and strict FTZ compliance.

The role involves coordinating with customs, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to ensure timely, compliant cargo movements. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of FTZ experience, proficiency with AS400 or similar ERP systems, and strong analytical

Qualifications

• FTZ regulations and customs compliance knowledge.
• Proficiency with inventory management software (AS400/ERP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• FTZ-related certifications preferred.
• 1-3 years of direct FTZ/related experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare FTZ admissions (e-214) and withdrawals for export/consumption and bonded warehouses.
• Coordinate zone-to-zone transfers, manipulations, and CBP form submissions.
• Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly FTZ shipment reports.
• Maintain accurate FTZ records and liaise with Customs, freight forwarders, and logistics providers.
• Ensure daily statements and final statements are properly submitted and reviewed for payment.
• Validate documentation against shipment receipts to identify shortages or overages.
• Stay updated on FTZ regulations and assist with internal audits.
