Expeditors is seeking an Import Compliance Analyst (ICO) for an on-site role at the El Paso FTZ. You will coordinate FTZ documentation, work with brokers, and ensure compliant import activity with US Customs rules.

The position requires strong attention to detail, communication, and collaboration with internal teams and clients. The role emphasizes data integrity, training others on FTZ processes, and maintaining accurate records in SAP/CAT while interfacing with US Customs and Honeywell staff

Formación

• Experience with US Customs Brokerage Services
• Solid understanding of Expeditors culture & expectations
• Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must not require future sponsorship for employment Visa
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Fluent in English; Spanish beneficial
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Pro-active in thought and action
• Analytical with strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Comfortable with numbers and basic math
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Able to commute to ELP buildings as needed
• 2+ years of Customs Broker’s knowledge preferred

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and complete FTZ documents (e.g., 214s) with data provided by Honeywell
• Work with broker and on-sites to facilitate data flow and paperwork
• Execute complex transactions using training and experience
• Maintain FTZ inventory control and records (data entry, reporting, analysis)
• Classify products not in master parts database
• Collaborate with engineers and compliance to obtain shipment data
• Update SAP or CAT with shipment details and compliance info
• Provide FTZ compliance training to relevant parties
• Ensure imports into El Paso FTZ comply with US Customs laws and regulations
• Communicate with local broker, monitor performance, address issues
• Serve as subject matter expert on FTZs
• Interface with US Customs as needed
• Support import compliance program and guidance across functions
