Job summary

Bacardi in Jacksonville is seeking a Foreign Trade Zone Coordinator to manage import/export activities, ensure compliance with CBP/FDA regulations, and facilitate smooth cross-border goods movement.

You will classify goods, prepare ISF filings for ocean imports, maintain records for CBP audits, and liaise with customs officials, shippers and clients to resolve issues.

The role emphasizes accurate master data in our customs software and continuous improvement across the FTZ process.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required (combination of schooling and experience may be considered).
• 3 years + Supply Chain knowledge, ideally in Import/Export or qualification in a relevant field.
• Analytical ability to identify anomalies, trends, and resourcefulness to problem-solve exceptions.
• Proficiency of ACE software; Customs records databases; Integration Point (One Source) and EditTrade.
• Proficient MS Office, with advanced Excel skills (heavy Pivot usage), and SAP Experience.
• Understanding of Warehouse Processes.
• Ability to maintain accurate and efficient filing systems and logs.
• Working knowledge of various Custom Forms (CF214, CF215, CF216, CF7512, CF3461, CF7501, CF349)

Responsibilities

• Compliance: Ensure all import, export and Foreign Trade Zone activities comply with applicable laws and CBP & FDA regulations.
• Documentation: Prepare and submit accurate documentation for customs clearance; file ISF for ocean imports.
• Classification: Classify goods per Harmonized Tariff Schedule and determine duties.
• Consultation: Provide guidance on customs requirements, tariffs, shipping restrictions and other trade matters.
• Record Keeping: Maintain organized records to support CBP audits and FTZ compliance reviews.
• Auditing: Conduct internal audits of customs entries to ensure accuracy and raise issues.
• Communication: Liaise with customs officials, shipping companies, and clients to resolve issues.
• Manage US Customs FTZ transactions including inventory control, admissions (CBPF 214), and zone transfers.
• Calculate duty payments and validate brokerage accounts.
• Maintain Bacardi’s Customs Software master data (CBMA, MID Codes, customer info).
• Drive continuous improvement.
