Job summary

National Fitness Partners, the largest Planet Fitness franchise, is hiring a Customer Service Representative in our Altoona club. Starting at $12 per hour with raises at 180 days, 1 year, and every 6 months after the first year based on anniversary date.

Hours are Monday–Friday 8am-4pm. As part of a team transforming lives through affordable fitness, you will greet members, sign up new members, log amenities, answer calls, and promote our fitness classes, all while keeping the club clean and

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to greet members, sign up new members, and log amenities.
• Availability Monday–Friday 8am–4pm.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script.
• Greet members and sign up new members; tour and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases at POS.
• Promote fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.
