Job summary

Planet Fitness in Trevose, PA is hiring a Customer Service Representative to greet members, sign up new members, and handle daily member inquiries. You will contribute to a welcoming Judgement Free environment and work a full-time schedule with regular shifts.

The role includes asking questions, processing purchases, and promoting fitness classes while maintaining a clean and safe club space for all guests and members.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospects, and guests.
• Answer phones using information script and greet members.
• Sign up and tour new members, log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely, professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases at the point of sale.
• Promote fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Full - Time: Starting at $13 per hour.

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
