Job summary

Planet Fitness Brook Park, OH is seeking a Customer Service Representative to greet members, answer questions, and log amenities in a friendly, Judgement Free environment.

You will handle phones, promote fitness classes, process sales at the point of sale, and help maintain a clean, safe club. Benefits include growth opportunities, PTO, health options, and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to Planet Fitness members and guests.
• Answer phones using information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Promote fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our members.
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Job Shift: First Shift

Full - Time: Starting at $12 per hour. Schedule: Monday - 4:45 am - 12:45pm, Tuesday - Friday - 6am - 2pm

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale systemPromote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Qualifications & Job Requirements:

• Customer service experience
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
