Job summary

Freshly Go is seeking a Fruit Cutter Specialist to operate fruit and vegetable stations in store locations nationwide. You will prepare fresh cut fruit for retail, maintain safety and presentation standards, and participate in a 1-week orientation.

This temporary full-time position requires reliability, adherence to recipes, and quality focus. Responsibilities include washing, trimming, labeling, and stocking products, promoting produce through sampling, and complying with sanitation guidelines

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in food prep, produce, or grocery is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to safely use knives and food prep tools.
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Knowledge of handling fruit and vegetables.
• Ability to follow recipes and production guidelines.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Initiative and efficiency with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, cut, slice, and package fresh fruit per recipes and standards.
• Ensure products meet freshness and appearance standards.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Label, date, and rotate products.
• Maintain clean, sanitary prep area and equipment.
• Operate cutting tools safely.
• Stock and organize merchandising stations.
• Prepare fruit/vegetables for sale.
• Promote fruit/vegetables through sampling.
• Follow company policies and health regulations.
• Possess and maintain a Food Handler Certification.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
