Job summary

Freshly Go is seeking a Fruit Cutter Specialist to prepare fresh fruit for retail in stores under AFC Corporate management. This temporary full-time position involves operating fruit and vegetable stations, following recipes and safety standards, and assisting with display and sampling to drive sales.

Training is provided via a 1-week orientation at a designated location; the role requires reliability, teamwork, and strong customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to safely use knives and food preparation tools.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must take initiative and work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, cut, slice, and package fresh fruit according to recipes and standards.
• Ensure products meet freshness and quality standards.
• Follow food safety, sanitation guidelines, and proper handwashing.
• Label, date, and rotate products; maintain clean prep areas.
• Operate knives and prep equipment safely; stock merchandising stations.
• Prepare fruit/vegetables for sale and promote samples daily.
