Job summary

Freshly Go in Texas is seeking a Fruit Cutter Specialist to prepare fresh cut fruit for retail under AFC Corporate management. The role is temporary full-time, with a 1-week orientation and duties based on store needs. You’ll maintain safety, cleanliness, and presentation at the fruit/veg station across assigned locations.

Responsibilities include knife skills, food safety, and daily product promotion. High school diploma preferred; full training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Food safety knowledge and sanitation practices.
• Ability to safely use knives and food prep tools.
• Attention to detail and quality in fruit prep.
• Reliable, punctual, able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, cut, slice, and package fresh fruit per recipes.
• Ensure products meet freshness, quality, and appearance standards.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Label, date, and rotate products; maintain clean work area.
• Operate knives and food prep equipment safely.
• Stock merchandising stations and prepare fruit for sale.
• Promote fruit/vegetables by sampling daily.
