• Explain special billing and service programs to customers (e.g., Winter Averaging, low-income utility assistance, and solid waste/recycling programs).
• Update and maintain accurate account information in the customer information system (name/address changes, billing adjustments, service disconnections).
• Perform cashiering duties for utility payments and miscellaneous AR, including police seizure funds; post transactions and adjust journal entries.
• Open and close accounts for customers of one or more City utilities; verify/change information for proper billing.
