Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Shortage Control Associate in Stafford, TX to help maintain a secure shopping environment while delivering excellent customer service.

In this part-time role, you will monitor entrances and high-risk areas, greet customers with energy and confidence, and report theft incidents to the Manager on Duty. You will support training and uphold Burlington's safety standards daily.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and monitor store environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and analyze business trends.
• Excellent communication and ability to greet customers energetically.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances/exits and high-risk areas to reduce theft opportunities.
• Greet every customer with a warm, confident greeting and maintain a positive demeanor.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.
• Provide support in training associates on shortage reduction programs and safety practices.
