Job summary

Burlington is hiring a Shortage Control Associate to help secure the store and provide excellent customer service. You will monitor entrances, greet customers, and report thefts while upholding safety and security standards. Part-time positions offer associate discounts and potential benefits with hours worked.

The role requires a proactive, energetic individual with strong communication skills and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances/exits and high-risk areas to deter theft.
• Greet every customer with a warm, confident, and energetic greeting.
• Conduct bag and package checks for store and corporate associates per safety standards.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.
• Support training of associates on shortage reduction programs and processes.
