Job summary

Burlington Stores in Concord is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to maintain a secure shopping environment while delivering excellent customer service. You will monitor store entrances/exits and high-risk areas to reduce theft opportunities, greet customers with a confident, friendly demeanor, and report incidents to the Manager on Duty.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and monitor the store environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate strong communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances/exits and high-risk areas to reduce theft opportunities.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.
• Greet every customer with a warm, confident, and energetic greeting; project a sense of control and security.
• Support shortage reduction programs and train associates on safety procedures.
