Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a frontline Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day package sortation and staff, supporting the Safety Above All Culture and ensuring compliance with FedEx policies and government regulations.

This role oversees hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and operational planning while focusing on safety, efficiency, and cost control across the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Certification or Associate’s degree with college coursework may be acceptable in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a champion for the Safety Above All Culture and support related initiatives.
• Manage day-to-day operations and staff including hiring, coaching, training, recognition, and performance management.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control operations to ensure safe and efficient sortation of packages.
• Assign and manage employees to optimize safety, efficiency, and cost within the facility.
• Analyze performance data and develop action plans to improve key metrics.
• Lead daily meetings and communicate updates to staff; deliver presentations to audiences.
• Contribute to employee relations and safety programs and ensure policy compliance.
• Investigate and resolve customer service issues; escalate as needed.
• Train new employees on duties, performance expectations and FXG policies.
