Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a frontline Operations Supervisor to support the Safety Above All Culture and manage day-to-day operations and an assigned staff, ensuring safe and efficient package sortation.

Key duties include hiring, coaching, training, performance evaluation, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with FXG policies and government regulations.

You will lead meetings, communicate updates, mentor less-experienced supervisors, and adapt quickly to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Champions FedEx Safety Above All Culture and supports related initiatives.
• Hire, coach, train, recognize, and evaluate staff; manage discipline and performance.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control daily operations.
• Assign and manage employees for safe, efficient sortation and tracking of trailers.
• Analyze performance and drive improvement using data and reports.
• Lead daily meetings to communicate goals and updates to teams; public speaking as needed.
• Develop and administer employee relations and safety programs.
