Job summary

State of Idaho ITS is seeking candidates for an IT Operations and Support Analyst I to help provide core technology and cybersecurity services to state agencies. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, Active Directory management, and user support across departments.

The successful candidate will handle end-user support, system administration tasks, and onboarding/offboarding activities. A fingerprint-based background check is required, and exemplary customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of IT troubleshooting, Active Directory, and Microsoft workstation/desktop applications.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or an equivalent two-year IT degree.
• Experience advising others in IT support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct end-user support for a wide range of technologies and devices.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and deploy end-user software and hardware.
• Maintain service documentation and update support records in the service management system.
• Perform system administration tasks for user devices, hardware, software, and networks.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes and vendor escalations.
