Job summary

Bank Of Springfield in Shiloh, IL is seeking a reliable IT Help Desk Specialist to be the first point of contact for technical support. You will help employees resolve IT issues quickly and maintain smooth day-to-day IT operations.

The role requires strong Windows OS and Microsoft 365 knowledge, good communication, and the ability to troubleshoot independently. Experience with ticketing systems and basic cybersecurity is preferred; associate degree or equivalent experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and in person
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
• Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions
• Document support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT staff when needed
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding by setting up and deactivating user accounts
• Support basic cybersecurity and data protection practices
