Job summary

ArcaLabs, Palo Alto-based AI team, hires a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead end-to-end deployments inside investment banks, asset managers, and PE funds. You’ll work on agent-powered workflows, sit with analysts on client sites, and then integrate learnings back into the core platform.

You’ll deploy in production using Python and TypeScript, ensure audit trails and secure access, and collaborate with MDs to define workflow templates for comps and IC memos.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience, including time on a customer-facing or platform-applied team.
• Fluent in Python and TypeScript; have shipped agent-driven features in production.
• Comfortable working with Excel/PowerPoint/Word object models (openpyxl, python-pptx, python-docx).

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle deployments at top-tier banks and PE funds: discovery, scoping, building, customer training, and rollout.
• Build agentic workflows on our own agent runtime, a forked coding-agent CLI driven from a TypeScript control plane, wired to FactSet data.
• Run agent-generated Python inside E2B sandboxes with per-deal sessions and secure credential brokering through Hardpan vault.
• Pair directly with MDs and analysts to model the workflows that matter: comps templates, IC memo formats, and pitch strip profiles.
• Write production Python and TypeScript against security controls: audit trails, encrypted tokens, per-sandbox brokering.
• Land the surfaces bankers already work in: per-environment manifests, Entra app registration, and tenant admin consent for Office apps and Teams bot.
• Identify reusable patterns across customers and champion them into the core platform.
