The ideal candidate has 5+ years in AI/ML or software engineering, strong Python, and a track record of delivering end-to-end deployments in regulated or complex settings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in AI/ML or software engineering with production agentic work experience.
• Strong production-grade Python skills.
• Experience with production tool use, planning, and multi-step reasoning.
• Expertise in tuning retrieval systems for production.
• Ability to choose between off-the-shelf agent frameworks and custom orchestration.
• Design experience with evaluation suites for agentic systems.
• Experience designing APIs and integrations for production systems.
• Proven track record of managing client engagements from kickoff to production.
• Experience in regulated or operationally complex environments.
• Ability to own customer-facing deployments end to end.

Responsibilities

• Embed with a hedge fund or investment management firm as the technical lead on deployment.
• Customize products to fit client environments and ship daily workflows.
• Engage in real engineering to integrate products with client setups.
• Maintain a short feedback loop with end-users to refine deployments.
• Focus on building, planning, and decision-making for AI software.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, analysts, traders, ops, compliance, and tech leadership.
