Affirm is seeking an Engineering Manager on the Consumer team to lead the front-end engineers responsible for iOS, Android, and Web experiences.
You will own the technical strategy, guide architecture, and drive multi-quarter roadmaps, aligning with product, design, and analytics.
This remote-first role requires 7+ years of software experience and 3+ years in people management, with strong communication and leadership.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years managing and growing engineering teams.
- Proven experience delivering consumer-facing software and driving execution through ambiguity.
- Experience with modern full-stack development and architecture decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a well-balanced team of engineers with clear expectations and feedback.
- Own the team’s technical strategy and multi-quarter roadmap.
- Empower tech lead and engineers in design and cross-functional alignment.
- Own availability, reliability, and performance of consumer-critical systems.
- Drive alignment across organizations and influence roadmaps with partner teams.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Analytics and other Engineering teams.
