Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Arlington, VA seeks a Loss Prevention Associate at TJ Maxx to deter theft, support safety, and partner with store teams. You will wear a body-worn camera and assist customers while maintaining a professional front-of-store presence.

This role requires strong verbal and written communication, sound judgment, ability to work independently, and stamina to stand for long periods. 0–2 years of retail or security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional front-of-store presence.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent loss.
• Wear a Company-approved uniform including a Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers and assist via store management or customer service.
• Refer customers to management for assistance when needed.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents to LP or management.
• Perform closing safety sweep of the store with a manager.
• Document incidents in AIIM Case Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
