Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in USA is hiring for a Loss Prevention/Store Associate role focused on front-of-store coverage, deterrence of theft, and safety compliance. Youll operate within TJ Maxx environments, wear the body worn camera, greet customers, and support the store management and LP teams to protect the brand and ensure a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Sound decision making abilities for fast, safe choices.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Efficiently prioritizes and manages workload and time.
• Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
• 0–2 years retail or security experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper, professional stance at the front of the store.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent loss and dishonesty.
• Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide.
• Wear a complete Company uniform including a Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers with courtesy and respect.
• Position self at front or in a department to monitor activity.
• Refer customers to store management or customer service via radio.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents to LP or management.
• Conduct a closing safety sweep of the store with management.
• Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
• Document incidents in AIIM Case Management system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
