Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention/Shopfloor Associate to reinforce store safety at our TJ Maxx location. You will stand duties at the front, deter theft, and wear a Body Worn Camera while supporting store teams and customer experience.

Ideal candidates will have 0-2 years in retail or security, strong communication, and the ability to work independently with sound decision making. A positive, professional demeanor and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years retail or security experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a proper and professional stance at the front of the store.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent loss/dishonesty.
• Wear a complete uniform including a Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers with courtesy and respect.
• Refer customers to store management or customer service as needed.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents to LP or store management.
• Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with management.
