Job summary

Buffalo Lodging Associates is seeking a Front Office Supervisor for Courtyard by Marriott Sarasota University Park/Lakewood Ranch to coordinate front office operations and support the management team. You will oversee guest services, supervise front desk staff, and ensure a high standard of guest satisfaction.

The role requires 1-2 years supervisory experience in a hotel, strong customer service, familiarity with a Property Management System, and proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a hotel setting preferred.
• Customer service experience in a hotel setting preferred.
• Hotel brand experience is a plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Computer knowledge including intranet, PMS, Word and Excel strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee guest services and front office operations to ensure superior service.
• Foster a positive work environment between front office staff and management.
• Supervise front office team; plan, assign, direct work and address issues.
• Perform front desk duties: check-in/out, reservations, and guest information.
• Handle cash, credit card information and goods at the property.
• Respond to guest requests in a timely manner and ensure accommodations.
