Job summary

Chesapeake Urology is seeking a dedicated Point of Contact (POC) to support the office and physicians with minimal supervision. The role emphasizes patient-first care, accurate message processing, and precise EMR documentation.

You will triage 40–50 messages daily via Keona Health, coordinate appointments, and assist with patient education, treatment discussions, and medical record requests while maintaining compliance and quality service.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Front office experience (2+ years) in medical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, CPT-4 codes required.

Responsibilities

• Create positive first impression of the practice and patients' care.
• Process incoming messages and triage calls per policy.
• Document messages accurately in EMR and PM systems.
• Contact patients to provide results or arrange treatment per physician direction.
• Schedule appointments, procedures, labs, and imaging as needed.
• Assist with medical record requests and pre-authorization tasks.
