This position reports to the Director and Assistant Director of Front Office and will oversee 4-6 team members per shift.

Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of hotel experience in a supervisory role, OnQ experience highly preferred, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Office.

Shift Pattern: Open availability and weekend/holiday availability are required. Mainly 2nd shift 3pm - 11:30pm.

What will I be doing?

  • Manage all Front Office operations including guest service and registration (check-in/check-out), room inventory and availability, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls, overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement, and meeting participation and facilitation.
  • Monitor and develop team member performance through supervision, scheduling, counseling, evaluations, and recognition.
  • Assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate issues, and implement improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Meet and greet guests, respond to inquiries, requests, and issues promptly and courteously, and resolve guest concerns.
  • Implement up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize revenue.
  • Ensure team members are knowledgeable about hotel products, services, facilities, events, pricing, policies, and local area information.
  • Complete audit procedures as needed.
  • Recruit, interview, and train team members.
