Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group in Town of Manlius, NY seeks a dynamic Front Office Manager to lead guest services and uphold SHG's service culture across the Front Office. You will drive guest satisfaction, optimize room inventory, and ensure smooth check-in/check-out experiences.

Responsibilities include monitoring room status and rates, supervising front desk staff, and collaborating with Housekeeping and others to meet budgeted objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years in a similar leadership role (Front Desk Supervisor, Assistant Front Office Manager, etc.)
• High School education required; additional post-secondary education preferred
• Knowledge of hotel Front Desk operations and guest services

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily room status, rates, discounts, and availability for walk-ins.
• Coordinate blocking of rooms and pre-register guests per standards.
• Serve as Service Champion for Front Office to boost guest relations.
• Review staffing levels and budgets to meet objectives and payroll.
• Lead, coach, and discipline front office staff as needed.
• Act as Manager on Duty; work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
