Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels Corporation is seeking a Front Office Manager-in-Training to oversee daily front desk operations, concierge services, and guest registrations. You will act as MOD for morning and evening shifts, supervise staff, and coordinate with departments to resolve guest issues.

Requirements include an Associate degree or equivalent, knowledge of Opera software, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• Knowledge of Opera and internet software is preferred.
• Bi-lingual communications skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act independently as MOD, covering morning and evening shifts.
• Supervise front office staff including front desk, communications, uniform services and concierge.
• Oversee VIP arrivals and conduct Manager’s Meetings.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and coordinate with other departments to resolve issues.
