Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels Corporation is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to lead and train the front desk team, ensure service standards, and support the Operations Manager with daily tasks in a dynamic hotel environment.

You’ll oversee scheduling, guest interactions, and front desk systems (Opera/Synxis), motivate staff, and help deliver Sonesta Service and guest satisfaction across shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of previous hotel experience required.
• ServSafe certification may be required.
• Experience with Opera systems and Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train, supervise, and schedule front desk team.
• Assist Operations Manager with accounting and HR tasks.
• Lead front desk technology systems and guest marketing initiatives.
• Respond to guest inquiries and complaints promptly.
• Ensure safety procedures and health standards are followed.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and reporting.
• Coordinate with other shifts for seamless operations.
