Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants in Palm Springs seeks a Front Office Manager to lead all Front Office operations, set and maintain a high level of guest service, and provide mentorship to the team.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of management experience in hospitality, a preferred Bachelor’s degree, strong communication and conflict-resolution skills, and familiarity with Opera and Microsoft Office; flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of management experience in hospitality or related field.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Ability to diplomatically handle difficult situations with integrity.
• Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Opera and MS Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all Front Office operations and maintain high guest-service standards.
• Provide mentorship, coaching, and supervision to Front Office staff.
• Ensure accurate balancing of revenues and adherence to cash handling procedures.
• Coordinate scheduling and coverage, including night audit shifts.
• Support guest needs and uphold service quality as measured by guest feedback.
