Job summary

The Sheraton Anchorage Hotel & Spa in downtown Anchorage is seeking a Front Office Associate to support seamless guest service at the front desk. You will supervise staff, handle scheduling, and ensure accurate MICROS transactions while coordinating with housekeeping and engineering as needed.

This role requires strong communication, teamwork, and a proactive approach to guest needs, including evenings or weekends as required to maintain hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in front desk operations and staff supervision.
• Ability to interview, hire, train and schedule front desk staff.
• Proficiency with MICROS or similar property management system.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper staffing levels of front office associates through interviewing, hiring, training and scheduling.
• Understand front office roles and step in to perform duties when needed.
• Manage MICROS system daily transactions and related tasks.
• Review AM/PM discrepancy reports accurately.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Engineering on guest rooms and requests.
• Greet guests and check them in/out promptly and professionally.
