Job summary

Sheraton Anchorage Hotel & Spa in downtown Anchorage seeks a Front Office Supervisor to lead the front desk team, oversee staffing, training and guest services. You will manage MICROS transactions, coordinate with Housekeeping and Engineering, and ensure smooth check-ins and check-outs for guests.

The role requires teamwork, a strong work ethic, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in front desk supervision or hotel operations preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.
• Ability to train, schedule and motivate front desk team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper staffing levels of front desk associates, including interviewing, hiring, supervising, training and scheduling.
• Understand front office roles and duties and perform them as needed.
• Manage MICROS system transactions and daily cash/operational tasks.
• Check AM/PM discrepancy reports and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Engineering on guest requests and room needs.
• Greet guests, check in/out promptly and address needs professionally.
