Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years working as a Customer Service Representative in physician office.
• 2 years working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, HMOs and other 3rd party payors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day clinic front office activities and supervise staff.
• Assist with hiring, training and coaching for front office personnel.
• Oversee schedule maintenance, patient registration, medical records and referrals.
• Manage labor and supply budgets for front office operations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and update department policies as needed.
• Oversee managed care referrals and authorizations for specialty appointments.
• Maintain high standards of customer service for patients and staff.
• Participate in performance improvement projects and care coordination.
• Perform CSR duties and other assigned tasks.
