Burlington Stores is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to contribute to a secure shopping environment while delivering excellent customer service. You will monitor entrances, greet customers, and report theft incidents, partnering with store leadership to reduce losses.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in customer service or retail, are comfortable in a fast-paced setting, and can train others on shortage reduction programs. Part-time role with opportunities for growth and an associate discount.

Competenze

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and to visually monitor store environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality is required.
• Ability to review, analyze and comprehend business trends.
• Ability to exhibit a positive demeanor, strong posture, and energetic greeting.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment with detailed focus and disciplined decision making.
• Excellent communication with customers and co-workers.
• Excellent leadership skills that support fostering productive business relationships.

• Maintain a professional front-line presence at store entrances and high-risk areas to deter theft.
• Greet every customer with a warm smile and loud, friendly greeting.
• Identify and report theft incidents and suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.
• Communicate theft prevention information during store rallies with the Manager on Duty.
