Qualifications

• Weekend availability required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years restaurant serving and/or supervising experience.
• Able to work 30+ hours weekly, evenings and weekends.
• Ability to deliver first-class customer service.
• Professional communication with staff, guests, and management.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and stand for long periods.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support server and bartender activity throughout shift.
• Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere with professional greeting and timely seating.
• Provide management with restaurant status, progress, and feedback to enhance guest experience.
• Ensure completion of all server tasks during opening/closing within shift time.
• Deliver first-class service and hospitality, supporting staff as needed.
• Lead in delivering Gateway service standards and Gateway Values.
• Supervise restaurant floor for food quality, presentation and service alignment.
• Uphold health and safety standards.
• Promote teamwork and communication between hotel departments.
• Promote a positive, energetic work environment.
• Resolve guest complaints or escalate to Managers with transparency.
• Complete shift paperwork, reports and cash management efficiently.
• Coordinate restaurant reservations and events accurately.
• Maintain attention to detail and seek ongoing improvement.
• Assist in training new employees.
• Other duties as assigned.
