Levy Restaurants in Ames is seeking a General Manager of Concessions to lead all aspects of concessions operations for Iowa State University events. The role prioritizes recruitment, training, and maintaining high standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in food and beverage operations, a hospitality focus, and strong interpersonal skills. Evening and weekend availability supports event-driven schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a food and beverage operational position.
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management is preferred
• High level of computer literacy
• Passion for hospitality, food, and retail
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Able to work evenings and weekends, as dictated by event schedule

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all aspects of concessions operations
• Ensuring the recruitment and training of team members in our standards and procedures
• Driving engagement within the concessions department
• Ensuring point of sale updates and regular maintenance checks are completed
• Implementing concessions Production Sheet to ensure accurate production and minimal wastage
• Ensuring regular maintenance, cleaning and inspection of all concessions areas and equipment
• Oversee service standards during events to ensure a high level of the guest experience
