Job summary

Keke's Breakfast Cafe is seeking a Front of House Support team member to provide a warm, welcoming dining experience. You will greet guests, manage wait lists, seat guests, and coordinate with servers to ensure smooth service from arrival to departure in a fast-paced cafe setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean host area, recording guest details, and communicating wait times. Weekend and holiday hours required; reliable transportation preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting and cleaning.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of basic food safety practices and ability to follow health regulations.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival.
• Record guest names, party sizes, and issue pagers when needed.
• Provide guests with estimated wait times and keep them informed.
• Seat guests and provide menus and silverware.
• Accommodate seating requests and balance customer flow.
• Inform guests of their server's name.
• Thank guests and invite them to return.
• Maintain cleanliness of the host area.
• Clear tables and transport items to washing areas.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and relay needs to servers.
