Job summary

IHOP is hiring for a host/hostess role in the United States. You will greet guests as they arrive, seat them when a table is ready, and ensure a welcoming dining experience. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet guests within 30 seconds and seat them as a table becomes available.
• Rotate station seating to ensure quality guest service.
• May handle guest complaints and invite them to return.
• Answer the telephone, take messages, and complete all To Go orders.
• Maintain a waiting list as necessary.
• Check restrooms hourly for stock and cleanliness.
• Clear, clean and reset tables, chairs, booths and floors after guests leave.
• Perform cleaning duties as per posted charts.
• Comply with uniform and appearance standards per IHOP SOP guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
