Job summary

Qualifications

• Greet guests promptly and courteously.
• Seat guests as tables become available.
• Maintain orderly seating arrangements and rotate stations as needed.
• Handle guest requests and inquiries with a positive attitude.
• Answer phones, take messages, and process To Go orders.
• Keep waiting list organized and up to date.
• Ensure restrooms are clean and stocked.
• Assist with clearing and resetting tables and chairs.

Responsibilities

• Develop professional relationships with IHOP guests and team members.
• Greet guests within 30 seconds of entry.
• Rotate seating to maintain service quality.
• Respond to guest concerns and invite them to return.
• Take calls and complete To Go orders promptly.
• Maintain waiting lists and communicate availability.
