Job summary

Bell Textron Inc. in Fort Worth, TX, is hiring a Front-Line Leader to oversee the daily manufacturing activities for up to 25 unionized employees in the Advanced Composites Center. This second-shift role emphasizes safety, quality, and productivity while driving cost efficiency.

You will assign work, monitor TAKT and efficiency, and collaborate with Supply Chain and Process Engineering to implement improvements. Prior experience with Lean/Six Sigma and union environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience; 3+ years in a leadership role preferred.
• Strong oral/written communication, data-driven with urgency; ability to drive safety, quality and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Direct productivity of team and production objectives.
• Provide daily assignments and direction to direct reports.
• Discipline when necessary within union guidelines.
• Lead performance metrics such as TAKT, earned hours, efficiency, schedule and overtime.
• Collaborate across functions to implement process improvements.
• Evaluate business impact using reports and manpower data.
• Demonstrate leadership and organizational skills.
• Coordinate across shifts to meet goals.
