Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
• Minimum of one year commercial truck driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Ability to operate and maneuver a heavy truck and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive frontload or ancillary equipment along designated routes to collect solid waste.
• Open container enclosures and position 3-4 yard cans for dumping.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections; submit vehicle condition reports.
• Interact courteously with customers and the general public along the route.
• Maintain cleanliness around truck and site; report spills.
• Complete logs and route productivity sheets as required by law and policy.
• Back truck into spaces using mirrors; use GPS to locate addresses.
• Follow all safety policies and lockout/tagout procedures.
